- What is a channel: A channel is a different service tier the platform provides for model calls. Each channel corresponds to a different upstream resource access method (third-party resources, official subscriptions, direct official API access, etc.), which determines the service's stability, speed, and cost.
- Channel multiplier: Each channel has a corresponding multiplier. The higher the multiplier, the better the upstream resource quality and the stronger the stability, while each call also consumes more credits.
- Choose as needed: For daily development, you can choose a cost-effective channel to reduce costs; for critical business, you can choose a high-quality channel to ensure stability. Different members within the same team can use different channels.
- Dynamic adjustment: The channel system is continuously optimized based on changes in upstream resources and operating costs. The specific channel list and multipliers are subject to what is actually displayed on the platform.
Credit-Based Billing System
The platform uses credits as a unified billing unit, simplifying the billing complexity of multiple models and multiple channels:
- Top-up equals credits: RMB and credits are exchanged at a fixed ratio, clear and transparent.
- Metered by token: When making calls, credits are deducted based on the actual number of tokens consumed and the channel multiplier.
